Who is responsible?

What data do we process?

When you fill in the contact form, we process:

  • the details you enter: name, email address, phone number, the service you're interested in, postal code and your message;
  • technical details about your request: the page you sent the form from, the referring website, any campaign codes in the link (UTM parameters) and the time.

Why, and on what legal basis?

We only use this data to answer and follow up on your request, for example to schedule a site visit or prepare a quote. The legal basis is your consent and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) GDPR).

We may contact you once or twice more about that same request. Each of those messages includes an easy way to stop them. We never use your data for other marketing and never sell it.

Who receives your data?

Our website and the handling of requests are managed by Northfold, acting as a processor on our behalf. The following service providers (sub-processors) are involved:

  • Cloudflare: website hosting and protection against spam and abuse;
  • Hetzner (Germany): server that processes requests;
  • Supabase (Frankfurt region): secure storage of requests;
  • Brevo (EU): sending confirmation emails;
  • Google: overview of requests in Google Sheets.

How long do we keep your data?

We keep your request for at most 24 months after our last contact. If you become a customer, we keep the data we're legally required to keep (for example for accounting) for as long as the law requires.

Statistics

This website doesn't use any analytics or tracking tools.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent. Just email info@dewinter-energie.be. We reply within one month.

If you're not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels).

Security

Data is sent encrypted (HTTPS) and stored with service providers in the European Union or with appropriate safeguards. Only the people who need to handle your request have access to it.
